Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce announces INCredible celebration!

May 18, 2023 – The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its annual celebration of incredible businesses and individuals who have made significant contributions to our vibrant community. The INCredible Business Awards event serves as an opportunity to honor their exceptional work, dedication, and positive impact on the local economy.

“The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce has always been committed to promoting and supporting the growth and prosperity of our local communities”, commented Dave Olson, Chairman of the Board.  “As an organization that understands the importance of fostering strong relationships between businesses and the community, we believe it is crucial to recognize those who go above and beyond in their pursuit of excellence.”

This year's honorees represent a diverse range of industries, skills and dedication, each making incredible contributions to their business and/or community. The following outstanding businesses and individuals who have been nominated and will be recognized at the celebration include:

Non Profit of the Year Award sponsored by North Shore Bank
Recognizes a nonprofit serving the Peabody Area and helping to improve our local community with innovative services/program.

Family Business of the Year sponsored by Cataldo Ambulance
Recognizes the accomplishments and impact of a family-owned business that is a member of the Chamber.

First Responder of the Year Award sponsored by JJR Enterprise, Inc.
Recognizes a law enforcement officer, paramedic, emergency medical technician, or firefighter that has made a difference beyond the role of their job description.

Champion of Diversity Award:  Recognizes a business or nonprofit organization that has made an impactful commitment to embracing diversity in their workplace, diversity supplier partnerships, and the community.

Business of the Year Award:  Recognizes a company on their creativity and imagination in development of their business, demonstration of growth, and a reflection on internal and external social responsibility.

Minority Business Enterprise Award:  Recognizes outstanding business achievements of a minority-owned business in establishing a successful business model or contributions to the community.

Young Professional of the Year:  Presented to an individual under the age of 40 who has made significant contributions to their company or community.

Community Champion:  Recognizes an individual that makes a difference in the community through volunteering or leading an initiative that is not related to their job description.

“In addition, the Peabody Area Chamber is pleased to bring back two long standing community service awards”, noted Deanne Healey, President.  “The Mary Upton Ferrin and Harry Ankeles Community Service Awards have a long standing history with the chamber and the committee felt it appropriate to re-instate them as part of this ceremony.”

Mary Upton Ferrin Community Service Award:  Recognizes a business professional who has contributed to the civic well being of her community outside of her job duties.

Harry Ankeles Community Service Award:  Recognizes a business professional who has contributed to the civic well being of his community outside of his job duties.

Each honoree has not only achieved remarkable success but have also demonstrated a genuine dedication to making an incredible difference in their business or their community. Through their hard work and innovation, they have inspired others and set new standards of excellence. 
 
The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce's INCredible Business Award Celebration event will take place on June 7th at Olio, from 6-8pm. The evening will feature an Academy Awards style event, beginning with a cocktail reception, grazing table, as well as an opportunity for networking and collaboration with honorees and influential community leaders, followed by the announcement of winners in each award category.   It will be a momentous occasion to recognize the achievements of these outstanding businesses and individuals.

All members of the community, local business leaders, and media representatives are invited to join us in applauding these exceptional honorees. Their remarkable work serves as a testament to the collaborative spirit and entrepreneurial drive that makes a community thrive.
