Meet the Board Member: Mary Bellavance

Tell us a little about your position:
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the President.  The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment and possess the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills.    The main objective of this position is to provide and lend support to both internal and external parties with a high level of professionalism and in a manner that reflects positively on the organization. 
 
Why is your business a member of the PACC?
GraVoc has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for more than twenty-five years. 
It is the only family run Technology Consulting Company located just north of Boston on
the North Shore, with four (4) separate practices; Digital Marketing, IT Infrastructure, Information
Security and Business Solutions, offering one-stop shopping for all your technology needs.  Also,
unique to the technology field, we offer custom solutions.  If you think it, we will build it!
Being a chamber member has offered us the ability to make numerous business contacts within
the community which has helped to increase our visibility and acquire customer referrals.
 
Why did you want to serve on the PACC Board of Directors?
Becoming a member of the Board of Directors has allowed me to work with the Chamber to move
closer to achieving its mission within the community.   I have the opportunity to help manage the
budget, set policies and work to improve the chamber’s strategic focus and effectiveness,  while
working to empower local businesses to succeed.
 
How do you spend your personal time?
My husband Curt and I love to travel, take long walks, shop, and visit breweries as often as possible.
Peabody is our home and we long being a part of the wonderful community.
