The Peabody Area Chamber supports and endorses economic development strategies that emphasize increasing the number of wealth-producing jobs, including the expansion of the number of businesses and residents paying taxes and fees into the system.
Join the PACC and Premier Sponsor North Shore Bank for our annual Legislative Breakfast as we discuss the current local business climate. This year we will host a forum to focus on 3 key areas which impact businesses of all sizes in attracting and retaining employees, including:
Join the PACC and Premier Sponsor North Shore Bank for our annual Legislative Breakfast as we discuss the current local business climate. This year we will host a forum to focus on 3 key areas which impact businesses of all sizes in attracting and retaining employees, including:
- Workforce Development - Leverage all tools to connect employers with skilled employees as well as students for job shadow opportunities and internships.
- Transportation - Ensure the development of a safe, reliable, and efficient transportation system to increase the pool of available workers.
- Workforce Housing - Recognize that a sufficient supply of housing all along the income spectrum is critical to supporting vibrant and sustainable local economies.
The format will be a panel discussion with elected officials including:
