Description
The Peabody Historical Society and Museum are hosting a series of Lunchtime Lectures on Zoom.
Second program in our series, Dr. Lynne Nelson Manion presents “Local 21’s Quest for a Moral Economy.”
She will provide insight on the leather industry and its workers in the 20th century through the lens of a local leather union. She will offer a “hands-on” opportunity to utilize the tools of the historian: artifacts/primary sources. For the second part of the presentation, we ask our audience to please bring an artifact (object) or document/picture that is important to them.
