North Shore Bank Employees Make a Jeans Day Donation to the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress
North Shore Bank recently donated $1,170 to PALS Animal Life Savers, a no-kill, all-volunteer feline rescue group based in Salem. The proceeds were raised by bank employees through weekly “Jeans Day” donations in the month of July. North Shore Bank President and Chief Operating Officer Kevin M. Tierney, Sr. presents Heather Johnston, Beverly Bootstraps Director of Donor Relations with the first of five donations to the organizations “Building Community. Together.” Capital Campaign. The Bank’s total contribution over five-years will be $20,000. The campaign is the first ever capital campaign for the organization and has been extremely successful in raising funds for the purchase and renovation of a new building.

North Shore Bank recently announced the donation of $1,600 to the Haven from Hunger in Peabody. The proceeds were given by bank employees during the month of May as part of their weekly “Jeans Day” program. In exchange for $5 each week, staff can wear jeans to work with the funds collected pooled and then donated to an area charity.
