Description
Boston’s beloved mezzo soprano D’Anna Fortunato and violinist Maria Benotti offer three moving and distinctly contrasted works for voice and violin: Villa-Lobos Suite for Violin and Voice takes the listener on a dramatic, undulating ride; Holst Four Songs offer pause for spiritual reflection; Vaughan Williams Along the Field shares poignant memories of love and loss. Truly a dynamic journey for the listener! Part of the Music at Eden's Edge 'Close Encounters with Music' program, The Musician's Journey is a four-part lecture/performance series that will present music with varied topical connections selected by the players.
