Description
To maximize the productivity and efficiency of any business, be it a new startup or an established company, it is essential to have access to the right information, knowledge, and assistance. To remain competitive and profitable requires a lot more than just being able to organize a workforce. Getting an outside perspective provides advice which is not tied to emotional or personal decisions and can help you remain competitive and profitable.
If you are a small business owner (or want to be) you can't be expected to know it all! Our free business coaching/consulting service from the Small Business Development Center can help you to develop a better understanding of the market and prevailing conditions, identify strength and weaknesses, put together a comprehensive marketing plan or obtain financing to grow your business - to name just a few options.
Counseling provided by Walter Manninen, a representative from the Small Business Development Center of Salem State College. A former entrepreneur, Walter served as president and chief executive officer, and prior to that as chief financial officer, of CXO Media Inc., which published magazines for senior managers in marketing, technology and security. Walter also brings to the SBDC ten years of experience in banking as a treasurer and loan officer. His outstanding performance was noted in 2004, when he was nominated for an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and was later given the IDG Chairman?s Award for Entrepreneurial Leadership. Walter holds a BS from Salem State College and an MBA from Suffolk University.
Walter has been where you are now and is willing to share tips, ideas and expertise with you!
