Description
Annually, the Peabody Education Foundation hosts a Career Day to give students exposure to professions or fields such as yours that they may know little about. This year we have scheduled Career Day to be held at PVMHS on Friday morning, April 28th from 9:00am-11:00am. The format will be conducted in a tradeshow format, with 500 sophomore students expected to participate.
Please consider this an invitation to play a part in Career Day 2017.
It would be wonderful to have your support for this event and to share the enthusiasm you have for your chosen profession. It is an opportunity to share what your job/profession entails, educational requirements and salary ranges with a group of individuals on the cusp of their future. We are encouraging participants to bring visuals such as completed projects, pictures of people in action, tools of the trade, etc. to aid the students in fully comprehending the scope of your profession or field of work.

The Peabody Education Foundation is a remarkable volunteer-driven organization, designed to enhance the quality of education for each student enrolled in Peabody's public school system. Founded in 1985, the council was created to integrate the resources of the business, academic and governmental community into the schools. Guided by a positive vision for the future of public education, the council is made up of some of Peabody's most influential corporate and community leaders. Through innovative programs, the council has helped students enjoy thousands of experiences that normally could not be offered due to budgetary restraints.
