Fake news isn’t just a harmless, digital waste product. It has consequences. It is born out of a desire to produce clicks to sites for political purposes or in an attempt to generate ad revenue, often with shocking lead headlines. We rely on the internet for so much information, both business and personal, you want to know you are getting accurate information.
